Southern Georgian Bay OPP have released information about three suspects who were allegedly involved in a Tay Township home invasion on Friday, October 25.

Police say three unknown male suspects entered a home on Bayview Avenue in Midland Bay Woods around 4:40 a.m. with a firearm and “took physical control of the two occupants.”

Police say the suspects searched the home and left a short time later.

According to information obtained through the investigation, police describe the three suspects as follows:

  • The first, a tall Caucasian male who is around 25-to-30 years old with a skinny build, possibly with short brown hair. He was reportedly wearing dark clothing, black ‘Mechanix’ brand gloves with white writing and police say he possessed a firearm.
  • The second, an obese Caucasian male who is also around 25-to-30 years old, possibly with red hair. He was reportedly wearing a red and white hat, gloves and dark clothing.
  • The third, a Caucasian man who is around 25-to-30 years old.

The residents, while shaken from the incident, were physically uninjured.

It remains unclear if anything was stolen. No arrests have been made.

Police have not said whether this was a targeted or isolated incident.

Investigators ask anyone with information or home surveillance video of the area to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
