Everyone was out of the home when crews arrived.
The thick smoke migrated into the house, causing damage.
No injuries were reported.
McFadden believes at least five people will be displaced for the night because of the damages.
Crews will return on Friday to probe the cause of the fire.
Damage is estimated at $100,000.
