Home invasion under investigation in Port McNicoll

Provincial police are investigating a report about a home invasion in Port McNicoll early Monday morning.

Officers arrived at the Second Avenue Village house between Talbot and Armstrong Streets shortly after 2 a.m. to find the residents physically unharmed.

Police called in K9 unit, and members of the Emergency Response Team and the tactical unit to search the area for any suspects. No arrests have been made.

The authorities did not provide specific details regarding the incident, saying the investigation is ongoing.

Police ask those in the area to check home surveillance video for anything suspicious and to reach out to the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or via email with any information.
