Traffic heading south along Highway 11 in Orillia early Tuesday afternoon was slowed following a two-vehicle collision that damaged the guardrail.

The crash happened at Line 15 around 12:30 p.m., forcing a minivan off the road.

Police say it appears to have been a rear-end collision that significantly damaged the guardrail.

One southbound lane was closed for the repairs, with detours along Old Barrie Road to Line 13.

Police expect the highway to fully reopen around 2 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation. There is no word on any charges at this time.

No injuries were reported.
