Heavy police presence in Innisfil as investigation continues
A heavy police presence has been seen in an Innisfil neighbourhood throughout the day.
A spokesperson for the South Simcoe Police Service says police are investigating a radio call received earlier in the day in the area of Algonquin Avenue, near Friday Harbour Resort.
No details in terms of what transpired in that call were provided.

It's not clear if any arrests have been made or injuries sustained. However according to police the incident is isolated. There is not believed to be a risk to public safety.
