A garage with a boat inside was destroyed by fire early Thursday morning in Oro-Medonte.
The Oro-Medonte Fire Department was called to a property on Line 4 north, near Mount St. Louis Road, around 5:30 a.m.
When fire crews arrived, the building was engulfed in flames. Crews attacked the fire and prevented it from spreading to a home 15 metres from the garage.
Everybody inside the house got out safely and nobody was injured.
Damage is estimated at $100,000 and there is no word on the cause.
