A former security guard has been accused of sexually assaulting two people he met while working at a Newmarket hospital.
In July, the accused worked as a contracted security guard at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
During this time, York Regional Police says he met a 16-year-old girl during a visit. That girl later contacted police, alleging she was sexually assaulted off hospital grounds.
A 19-year-old woman also contacted police and advised investigators that she had befriended the accused while at the hospital. Police say she was also sexually assaulted off hospital grounds.
The 24-year-old Aurora man was charged with two counts of sexual assault.
