A former security guard has been accused of sexually assaulting two people he met while working at a Newmarket hospital.

In July, Pabiram Ravichandran worked as a contracted security guard at Southlake Regional Health Centre.

During this time, York Regional Police says he met a 16-year-old girl during a visit. That girl later contacted police, alleging she was sexually assaulted by Ravichandran off hospital grounds.

A 19-year-old woman also contacted police and advised investigators that she had befriended Ravichandran while at the hospital. Police say she was also sexually assaulted by Ravichandran off hospital grounds.

The 24-year-old Aurora man has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.

Police have released a photo of the accused to ensure there are no further victims.
