Fire crews responded to a large house fire in Tiny Township Sunday.

The call came in around noon on Sunday. Crews arrived to find a single family home engulfed in flames.

The roof of the house collapsed and fire crews were not able to enter the building.

The three people living in the home were not home at the time of the fire.

The house is a complete loss. The damage estimate is under $500,000.

While working to get the fire under control, crews also worked to prevent exposure to nearby buildings.

The cause is still unknown, and excavators have been called in, to help fire crews gain better access to the interior of the building.
