Fire burns trailer in wooded area
First responders tended to a trailer that caught fire in a wooded area in Adjala-Tosorontio Thursday afternoon.
Nottawasaga OPP say a call came in at around 2 p.m. about a small camping trailer that caught fire off County Road 21 near Scotch Line. The fire spread to a nearby shed, but firefighters extinguished it shortly thereafter.
Police confirmed that all occupants were safely evactuated, and that the fire is not considered suspicious. The cause of the fire was later deemed to be electrical.
The area was closed as first responders tended to the scene, and reopened around 4:45 p.m.
