Fatal crash in Melancthon
One man has died as a result of a two-vehicle crash in the Township of Melancthon Saturday morning.
Just after 10:15 a.m., officers from Dufferin OPP responded to reports of the collision on County Road 17 between 3rd and 4th Line. Dufferin County EMS and Fire Services also tended to the scene.
A 26-year-old Caledon man was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. Police say the single occupant of the other vehicle remarkably walked away with no injuries.
County Road 17 will remain closed as the OPP's Traffic Collision Investigation team investigates.
