The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a 73-year-old Elmvale man was hurt in a workplace incident near Phelpston, north of Barrie, last week.
Police say the man was pinned under a truck he was working on last Thursday and was left with injuries to his face and shoulder.
They say he's still in hospital in stable condition.
