Provincial police in Collingwood say a traffic stop resulted in a slew of charges and three arrests.

The OPP says an officer pulled the "suspicious" vehicle over for a traffic violation on Hurontario Street on Wednesday, and while speaking with the occupants, the officer learned two of them were wanted on outstanding warrants.

Officers allegedly seized a replica firearm, brass knuckles, various knives, and drugs on Wednesday.

Three residents of The Blue Mountains, ages 33, 45, and 52, were arrested.

In total, officers laid 17 drug and weapons-related charges.
