Share

The Northern Lights put on a spectacular display over Simcoe County, lighting up the sky with a greenish glow in the early morning hours on Tuesday.

Residents in the area were treated to the sight of the aurora borealis, a natural light show caused by the interaction between solar particles and the Earth's atmosphere.

The stunning spectacle creates colourful lights over the night skies, with green being the most common shade visible at lower altitudes.
