Three people face drug trafficking charges following two simultaneous police raids at residences in Simcoe County.

Provincial police say the arrests are part of an ongoing investigation.

Officers with street crime units executed searches at 11 a.m. on Thursday at an address on Dominion Avenue in Midland and at a property on Flos Road 8 East in Springwater.

Police allege officers seized cocaine, ecstasy, magic mushrooms, ammunition, cash and drug paraphernalia with an estimated street value of more than $60,000.

Officers also seized a 2017 Infinity as part of the investigation.

Two women from Midland and a man from Elmvale face several charges.

All three were released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for next month.
