The body of a missing boater has been recovered from Georgian Bay.
According to West Parry Sound OPP, three men from Richmond Hill were boating on Georgian Bay near Hailstone Island on Sunday, at around 4:19 a.m. when their vessel capsized.
Two of the men were able to swim back to shore, while the other remained missing for most of the day.
Provincial police released an update on Sunday evening saying rescue crews recovered the body of the 22-year-old man. An autopsy has since been scheduled.
Police say none of the occupants were wearing life-jackets.
The investigation is ongoing.
