Bike fest returns to Horseshoe resort

Share

The annual Horseshoe Valley bike fest returned to the region this weekend.

The event brings together bike enthusiasts to watch and participate in biking competitions through Horseshoe Valley trails.

"We just want to see people get sideways and stylish in the air and, at the end of the day, land clean and safe with two wheels on the ground," said Justin Skinner, Head whip off judge.

The event also includes food, live music, and events for all ages to enjoy.

"We welcome all ages from the under ten categories all the way up to the master categories, which are over 35. This is the best way to get kind of your feet wet, if I was competing it would be all about having fun with my friends and peers and having a good time," said Matt Konings, Horseshoe Valley Resort Manager of Parks and events.

The Horseshoe Valley bike fest kicked off on September 13 and will conclude on Sunday with an awards event.
