Bears that disrupted Huntsville school 3x this week captured
The three bears are the talk of the town this week in Huntsville, but it's not the storybook version, instead it's a real-life trio that led a local school to lock its doors and keep students indoors.
Spruce Glen Public School was forced to initiate a hold and secure three times this week because the bears were roaming on the school's property.

On Thursday evening, the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) was finally able to capture and relocate all three bears.
Residents say the animals have been making their rounds around town for some time.
"We saw the bears come, and the MNR was here and then they were chasing them towards the traps. They had, we heard, dart guns," said Huntsville resident Ashley Klassen.Bears roaming a community in Huntsville, Ont., on Thurs., Sept. 12, 2024. (CTV News/Rob Cooper)
The MNR says the animals will be taken far away and released together on crown land.
Police say it's been an interesting week, and ask people to take the necessary steps to help keep bears away in the future.
"Please, if you see a bear, stay away, give it space; if it's a concern, you can call police," said OPP Const. Dana Morris. "I know it's tempting to get really good pictures, but we would ask you to please give them space."
Police also remind residents to keep the property clear of garbage, and try to clean up any falling fruit from trees that may entice wildlife.
