Yachiyo, a major Barrie manufacturing company, told employees on Friday that some full-time jobs will be cut at the plant in 2015.
The company says because of business conditions, 35 full-time jobs will disappear in 2015. There are about 350 people currently working at the Barrie plant.
Yachiyo said there is no immediate impact to workers and it wanted to give those affected lots of notice.
Yachiyo produces auto parts and the plant runs three full shifts of workers.
