Police in Barrie made an arrest in a sexual offences investigation, and authorities are concerned more women may have had similar experiences.

Bryan Johnson, 43, became the subject of a police investigation in August and was arrested on September 24.

He is facing several criminal charges, including sexual offences.

According to police, the Barrie man regularly attended the city's downtown area.

Police cannot provide details of the allegations due to a court-imposed publication ban, but do ask anyone who feels they may have been victimized to contact the detective on the case at 705-725-7025, extensions 2170 and 2646. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers.

The accused remains in police custody with a future court date. The allegations against him have not been tested in court.
