According to police, four to five suspects got out of two vehicles in the area dressed in dark clothing and "aggressively approached the store" Wednesday afternoon.
Police say "safety-related countermeasures" were taken to prevent the suspects from entering the Dunlop Street West business, and they took off back to their vehicles, quickly fleeing the scene toward Highway 400.
Barrie police ask anyone with information on any suspicious activity or person in the area of Dunlop Street West and Maple Avenue between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday to contact the authorities.
