Arrest warrant issued for suspect wanted on assault charges in Huntsville

Provincial police issued an arrest warrant for a 36-year-old man wanted for a serious assault in Huntsville.

According to police, a 32-year-old man was assaulted overnight on Tuesday on Susan Street. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are looking for Kyle Ball on charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and mischief - destroys or damages property.

Ball is five feet three inches with a slim build and is known to frequent Huntsville and Almaguin Highlands.

Police say that while he is not considered an imminent public safety risk, Ball is known to carry weapons.

They say not to approach him but rather advise calling the police immediately if he's spotted.

Anyone with information on the assault investigation or who knows Ball's whereabouts is urged to call the authorities or Crime Stoppers.
