An early-morning robbery at a service station south of Gravenhurst is being investigated.

A call came into Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) at 5:10 a.m. Saturday about a robbery that had just occurred.

Police say a service centre on Highway 11 south of Gravenhurst was robbed by a man presenting a knife.

He demanded cash and cigarettes and left on foot, leaving the store clerk uninjured.

He is described as a white male wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a ski mask.

The OPP’s canine unit and emergency response team searched with negative results.
