Caught on camera: Man walks off with porch furniture from Barrie home
Police in Barrie are investigating a different type of porch piracy after a man was caught on camera walking off with some outdoor furniture.
"When you hear the term porch pirate, it is often associated with someone who steals a parcel that has been left by a delivery company on your porch," stated Peter Leon, corporate communications coordinator with the local police service. "Early this morning, the term took on a new meaning, and sadly, this theft is one that anyone who has furniture on their porch should be aware of."
