ContactAlessandra Carneiro joined Bell Media in 2016 and the CTV News team two years later.
Alessandra graduated from Brock University in 2016, where she majored in media broadcasting.
Shortly after finishing university, she began her broadcasting career, working for Bell Media's Toronto radio cluster.
Alessandra worked behind the scenes and held various roles in promotions and sales for Canada's top radio station CHUM 104.5, Virgin Radio, and Newstalk 1010, an experience she says gave her the skills to understand the business of broadcasting.
In 2018, Alessandra decided to pursue her dreams of working as a journalist and accepted a position with CTV News in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, and later served as a weekend anchor and video journalist for CTV News Saskatoon.
After two years in the prairies, Alessandra is overjoyed to be back home in Ontario, working as the weekend anchor and video journalist for CTV Barrie.
She looks forward to sharing every weekend with the viewers of central Ontario.
