Aggressive man busts up business

Police were called to a Murphy Road business when a man began causing a disturbance Wednesday at around 5:30 p.m.

Police say the man was "very aggressive" and during their interaction, he assaulted and attempted to flee from police.

A 31-year-old Niagara Falls-area man was charged with

  • Two counts of mischief under $5,000
  • Causing a Disturbance
  • Failure to comply with release order
  • Obstruct peace officer
  • Two counts of resisting a peace officer
  • Assault a peace officer

The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
