A 22-year-old Oro-Medonte man is dead following a crash between a car and a transport truck southwest of Orillia.
It happened after 10 a.m. on Old Barrie Road East between Oro-Medonte Line 12 and Line 13 near Rugby.
OPP say the transport truck was travelling westbound when it collided with an eastbound car that was attempting to pass another vehicle.
Police say the road will be closed for several hours while they investigate the crash.
They are looking into whether weather was a factor.
