An undercover investigation lead by South Simcoe Police aimed at street-level crimes in Innisfil and Bradford West Gwillimbury has resulted in 13 arrests.
Over the course of the four-month investigation, undercover officers bought drugs from a number of people, and identified some as persons of interest.
On Thursday, June 26, search warrants were executed at a Lefroy pizza shop as well as at an Innisfil home police say is known to house a self-professed member of the Hells Angels. Officers seized drugs, scales, debt lists, and stolen property. The man at that house has been charged with trafficking cocaine to an undercover officer on six separate occasions.
As a result of the investigation, 13 people from Innisfil, Bradford, Richmond Hill, and Holland Landing were arrested. More than 50 charges have been laid and more are expected.
The operation also included officers from the OPP Central Drug Enforcement Unit, OPP Nottawasaga detachment and Stratford Police Service.
