Eleven people have been arrested and more than 7 kg of cocaine was seized in a Simcoe County bust early Thursday morning.
Officers with Barrie police, the OPP and South Simcoe Police executed search warrants at five addresses in Barrie, three in Bradford and one in Oro-Medonte.
Eight men and three women who police say are connected to a complex drug operation were arrested in the bust.
Four vehicles, cash, electronics, cell phones and drug paraphernalia were also seized. Police estimate the value of everything seized at more than half a million dollars.
The accused now face a number of charges, including trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cocaine.
The arrests follow a six month investigation.
