A woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash on Ravenshoe Road in Georgina Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened on Ravenshoe Road between McCowan Road and the 8th Concession of Georgina around 1:00 p.m.
Investigators say that for some unknown reason an eastbound vehicle proceeded to make a U turn on Ravenshoe Road and a westbound vehicle t-boned it.
York Regional Police say a woman in one of the vehicles was killed and three people in the other vehicle, including a baby, were taken to hospital as a precaution but weren’t injured.
Ravenshoe Road at McCowan Road was closed for several hours while police investigated.
