A woman is facing an impaired driving charge after she was refused service at Barrie LCBO and then arrested a short time later.

Police say she was refused service at the LCBO on Bayfield Street around 8 p.m. because she appeared to be drunk.

Officers were then called and found the woman driving her just as she was pulling into her driveway a short distance away.

The woman was arrested and police say when they tested her blood alcohol level it came in three times the legal limit.

She was charged with impaired driving, her vehicle was impounded for a week and she will be back in court in May.
