A Windsor man has died in East Gwillimbury after being struck by two vehicles on Highway 11 early Thursday morning.

York Regional Police were called to the highway, just south of Canal Road, around 5:50 a.m. Police say a northbound 2003 Pontiac collided with a pedestrian on the highway, which sent the man flying into a southbound 2013 Ford pickup truck.

The 47-year-old Windsor man was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin has been notified. Neither of the two drivers were injured.

Police have reopened Highway 11. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers
