The Mac’s Convenience store on Mosley Street in Wasaga Beach was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday at around 6 p.m.
Police say at around 6:30 p.m. they saw a car stuck in a snowbank on 38th Street North, north of Linda Lane.
In the car they found a small amount of an illegal substance, an airsoft pistol, and cash that they believe was stolen from the Mac’s.
The two men in the car, a 32-year-old from Clearview Township and a 29-year-old from Wasaga Beach, were arrested.
The men are facing charges of robbery using firearm and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and the 29-year-old is also charged with possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a schedule 1 substance, disguise with intent, and using an imitation firearm while committing an offence.
