A man and woman are facing assault charges after a large fight involving several residents in the south end Thursday night.
Police were called to a home on Pickett Street around 7:00 p.m. and found that the two suspects had assaulted two different people.
Police say there was no explanation for the assaults other than the intoxication levels of the two people charged.
A 21-year-old woman and 22-year-old man were arrested and charged with two counts of assault.
They were taken to the Barrie Police station, held until they were sober and will be back in court in June.
