Police are searching for two men after a number of items were stolen from Cabelas in Barrie on Tuesday evening.

Police were called to the shortly after 6:30 p.m. after two men entered the store and grabbed a camera and several pieces of clothing.

Police say the men removed all the tags from the items and left the store with no attempt to pay for them. More than $1,000 worth of merchandise was stolen and police are hoping the unique clothing worn by the men will help them be identified.

The first suspect is described as:

  • White
  • Large build
  • Approx. 300 lbs
  • Goatee
  • He was wearing bright orange construction jacket with a black ‘CAT’ ball cap, blue jeans and black running shoes

The second suspect is described as:

  • White
  • Large build
  • Approx. 300 lbs
  • Partial beard
  • He was wearing a black and navy blue ‘ARCTIVA’ snowmobile jacket,  a red & white hat and grey jogging pant
