Two men have been charged after allegedly posing as doctors at an addiction centre in Caledon.

According to OPP, officers launched an investigation after receiving a tip about two men illegally practicing medicine at the Addiction Canada Treatment Centre in Caldeon.

Police say the two men were identifying themselves as doctors, but neither had a licence to practice medicine in Ontario.

A 30-year-old Mississauga man has been charged under the Regulated Health Professions Act for using the title of “doctor:”

A 46-year-old Richmond Hill man is charged with fraud and personation.

The investigation is ongoing.
