Lawyers spent the day Monday picking twelve people to make up the jury for the trial of Matthew Spring of Innisfil.

Spring is accused of 2nd degree murder in the death of Bradley Hubbard after an incident at the Putting Edge mini golf course in Barrie in 2011.

Hubbard died after allegedly being stabbed in the neck with a broken golf club.

Spring was 18 years old at the time, and is free on bail after pleading not guilty.

Spring’s older brother and a friend were also charged at the time of the incident, but the Crown dropped those charges saying there was no prospect of a conviction.
