Orillia OPP has arrested three men in connection with an assault and abduction of an elderly man in Ramara Township.

Provincial police arrested the three men from Pickering, but are still looking for a fourth suspect.

According to Orillia OPP, four men attended the 74 year-old man’s home at around 11:30 a.m., where they assaulted the victim and demanded money. That’s when police say two of the suspects forced the man into a white motorhome.

The other two suspected followed in a second motorhome with a red canoe on the roof. A short time later, police say the victim was able to escape the motorhome at the Ultramar Gas Station on Highway 12. The vehicle was later located in the parking lot of the Independent Grocer in Beaverton.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP or anonymous Crime Stoppers.
