It’s been a busy 24 hours for fire crews in Muskoka after responding to three fires between Friday evening and Saturday morning. 

The first fire happened at a home on Gullins Road in Huntsville on Friday night.

Fire Chief Steve Hernen tells CTV News the home was engulfed in flames when his crews arrived at the scene.Hernen says nobody was injured, and the cause is considered accidental.Damage is estimated at $390,000.

At about 10 p.m., Muskoka Lakes Fire Department responded to a shed fire on Peninsula Road in Port Carling.

The small shed was found to be fully engulfed and damage is estimated at $6,000. There were no injuries.

According to Fire Chief Richard Hayes, the fire was caused by a lightningstrike.

At 5 a.m. on Saturday, Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department responded to another fire, this one was on Main Street West.

The fire department says they found heavy smoke from the lower apartment and three occupants on the roof required help. Everyone was able to escape without injury. Damage is estimated at $100,000.

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting in that investigation.
