Three teens from the Muskoka area have been charged after people were sprayed with stolen fire extinguishers over the past two months.

A 17-year-old from Huntsville and an 18-year-old from Bracebridge have been charged with break-and-enter and possession of stolen property.

A third teen, a 17-year-old from Bracebridge, has been charged with break-and-enter, possession of stolen property, theft under $5,000, taking a motor vehicle without consent, and assault with a weapon.

They all have court dates.

Earlier this month, Bracebridge OPP Const. Jessica Drake said police have had numerous reports of people being sprayed with fire extinguishers, and in some cases the fire extinguisher was thrown at the victims.

Drake says the incidents were happening at night in various parts of the towns.
