A 15-year-old boy has been charged with sexual assault after an incident at a school in Meaford.
Police were called to Georgian Bay Secondary School in Meaford on Thursday November 27th in response to a report of a sexual assault.
A police investigation revealed a 15-year-old female student was lured into a bathroom at the school where she was inappropriately touched by the male student.
The boy was arrested and charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement. He has been suspended from the school. His identity cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound in December.
