Suspicious fire at abandoned house in Waubaushene

A fire at an abandoned house in Waubaushene late Friday night is being considered as suspicious.

The fire started at house on Pine Street just after 10:15 p.m.

Fire crews were able to stop the fire from spreading to a nearby home.

Damage is estimated at $50,000.

Tay Fire Chief Brian Thomas tells CTV News the cause of the fire is still under investigation but it is suspicious in nature.
