A hot and humid Labour Day led to some stormy weather in our region on Monday.

Viewer pictures taken in Bolton show a possible funnel cloud in the area.

Mark Seifert, Severe Weather Meteorologist with Environment Canada, tells CTV News that there were heavy showers in the Bolton area but he says conditions weren’t conductive for tornadoes to develop.

When he looked at the viewer photo, Seifert says it is a possible funnel cloud but there are no reports of anything touching down or any damage.

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for the Innisfil, New Tecumseth and Angus areas around 2:30 p.m. on Monday but was removed thirty minutes later.
