Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Muskoka and Parry Sound.
The national weather agency warns freezing rain is possible Saturday overnight into Sunday. Temperatures will slowly rise through the day which should change the freezing rain over rain by Sunday afternoon.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution as untreated roads and sidewalks may become icy and slippery.
The special weather statement is in effect for:
- Bracebridge - Gravenhurst
- Huntsville - Baysville
- Port Carling - Port Severn
- Town of Parry Sound - Rosseau - Killbear Park
