Skeletal remains found at a park in Vaughan on Friday have been identified as human.
On Monday, the Ontario’s coroner’s office and the York Regional Police homicide unit confirmed the remains discovered at Rimwood Park are human.
Two people walking through the park found the remains on Friday afternoon, in a wooded area near Phillip’s Lane.
A cause of death has not been released, but police say it is not suspiciousin nature.
The investigation is ongoing.
