An Orillia man charged with several crimes against children was back in a Newmarket court on Friday.

Shayne Lund and his lawyer spent the day finishing their review of the agreed statement of facts which the judge wanted competed on Friday.

The legal document is more than 250 pages long and are the details of the 35 charged Lund pleaded guilty to.

The charges include sexual assault, making, possessing and distributing child pornography and bestiality.

This step is important in the legal process before a psychiatric assessment and sentencing takes place. The assessment will help the court decide whether Lund should be deemed a dangerous offender.

The crown has said from the beginning it would be asking for a dangerous offender designation but that decision will be made by the judge.

Lund will be back in court in December.
