Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole money from the two Walmart stores in Barrie and the one in Midland.

The thefts happened at the Barrie stores between 6:30 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. on Sunday August 16, 2015.

Police say video footage shows the man entering the store on Mapleview Drive around 6:30 p.m. Officers say he then headed to the automotive department where he pried open the till and took the money inside. He did the same in the electronics department before leaving the store.

The store on Bayfield Street was contacted by Police and they discovered money stolen from their cash register in the automotive section.

Police say they also have a report of the same suspect stealing in the same manner from the WalMart in Midland on August 16, 2015 at 9:30 p.m.  

He is described as:

  • White
  • 30-35 years old
  • Approx. 220 – 230 lbs
  • Reddish brown hair, medium length
  • Beard and mustache

He was wearing a grey t-shirt, black athletic shorts with a white stripe down the sides, white Nike low-cut runners, white socks, blue baseball cap and sunglasses.

He was seen driving away in a sliver Intrepid.
