The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority has issued a Watershed Conditions Statement because of heavy rainfall in the forecast. 20 to 30 mm of rain is possible in the next three days.

The forecasted rainfall will result in higher levels in rivers and streams, creating the possibility of dangerous and fast moving water.  Officials warn that watercourses in the area could become hazardous, especially culverts and bridges.

The Watershed Conditions Statement will be in effect through to Monday.
