OPP say the death of a 73-year-old Orillia man found Monday on a porch is not suspicious.

Emergency crews were called to Fittons Road East in Orillia on Monday, just before 11 a.m. According to the Orillia Fire Department, a letter carrier found the body on the front porch of a house.

A post-mortem has been conducted and the man’s death has been deemed not suspicious.

Neighbours tell CTV News that a man lived at the address alone and that he is a former local high school teacher.

The identity of the man is being withheld as per the wishes of the family.
