GREY HIGHLANDS, Ont. -- An Ontario Provincial Police officer and a Quebec man are facing charges following a three-vehicle collision about 150 kilometres northwest of Toronto.

Police say the three vehicles were travelling in tandem northbound on Highway 10 in Grey Highlands when the lead vehicle slowed to turn into a private drive.

Sgt. David Rektor says the vehicles following behind failed to stop for the lead vehicle, causing a chain reaction collision.

No injuries were reported in the collision on Monday afternoon, but investigators say all three vehicles sustained significant damage.

An OPP Constable and a Montreal man, 26,  are charged with careless driving.
